Uniform Standards
Uniform Code:
MYRMIDONS will adhere to the following uniform standards. Standards for team patches, event patches, call-sign nametapes, team nametapes, ACU-cut coat (top) and ACU-cut trousers (bottom) have been applied to all examples bellow.
Standard:
- Shirt - ACU cut- Digital Woodland coat
- Pants - ACU cut - Digital Woodland trousers
- Call-sign nametapes -Digital Woodland - upper case letters, tape 1" h x 5 " w, located over the right breast pocket and centered on back of Boonie / Patrol Cap / Cover.
- Team nametape - Digital Woodland - upper case letters, tape 1" h x 5" w, "MYRMIDONS", without quote, located over the left breast pocket.
- Team MYRMIDONS patch - should be proudly displayed on the left shoulder. At events where company/event patches are to be worn, the MYRMIDONS patch is to be relocated to the right shoulder until after the event.
- Event patch - worn on right shoulder . At events where company/event patches are to be worn, the company/event patch is to be relocated to the left shoulder until after the event.
- Loop Olive Drab Velcro for all patches - this allows quick and easy relocation of team and event patches. Sew in the same locations as the Army ACU uniform. (see example bellow)
- Qty. 2 size 1” loop Velcro 5” long (MYRMIDONS and Call-sign)
Qty. 2 size 2” loop Velcro 4” long (Flag or other patches)
Qty. 2 size 4” loop Velcro 5” long (Unit patches and event patches)
Options.
- Hook Velcro for all Patches. Allows you to attach patches to loop Velcro sewn on uniform.
- Ranger-Eyes - friend or foes indicator for night patrolling, two 1" x 1/2" pieces half inch apart located centered above call-sign on back of boonie / patrol cap / cover.
