The Myrmidons are small by design and at any point in time consist of no more than 12 team members. This allows us the flexibility to field 3-4 man fire teams or 2-6 man fire teams while keeping under the limits of a "squad" at most Lion Claw's events. Prospective new members must receive an invite in order to be considered for an open slot.

 Not just anyone can become a Myrmidon. No one under the age of 18 will be extended an invite. One must first fight along side us several times to allow the team to evaluate them. After several outings any team member who sees value to the team in the interested troop can nominate said troop for a vote. The troop must then gain unanimous decision by all team members before being extended an invite to join the team. Should the troop accept the invite he/she must then pass a PT test (documented in the SOP section of the site). Once all this is accomplished a final hazing is initiated and the troop becomes a Myrmidon.
